The best patches happen when the room is quiet enough to hear the noise floor. Not silence — the hum, the hiss, the subtle presence of electricity waiting. That is the actual starting point. Everything else gets layered on top of what the machines are already saying.
There is no version of this project that exists in daylight. The work needs the weight of late hours, the lowered guard, the willingness to let a loop run longer than it should.
